the new stamps arrived (great service and prompt delivery from stamps.net.au) and now i just need some nice reused (australian) cardboard to stamp them on - anybody have some they want me to reuse? i am improving my sewing skills while assembling my next prototype. snail speed but i'm learning heaps and find new construction challenges as i progress. stick around, I hope to have the prototype ready tomorrow!

... it's not a bag. oh well, i am so proud of my first project on the sewing machine that i labeled the result with 'songlines' too. the jeans have heaps of stories to tell and so does the other piece of material. i think that counts too ;)
so here it is - the pic of my first project on my industrial sewing machine. instead of ruining a bag prototype i decided to give mr. r's jeans repair the guinea pig status. and I have to say that it...
