    going in circles

    Sunrise

looking for better components such as the metal ring (remember - my wrinkle problem :-O) i headed over to the other side of town. the guys at m. recht were super friendly and gave me heaps of advice - among others they told me to go see a guy who manufactures bags etc. they also call him the invention man.

the invention man is actually based in brookvale, which is about a 7min drive from where i live. how good is that? i went to the other side of the city, all the way to china and now back around the corner. let's see how he can help. so exciting!

so i didn't get my components, but i got more things to follow up on ..

i did get some sad news today as well, as my aunt passed away yesterday. i want to dedicate this morning's sunrise to her:

To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die. -Thomas Campbell

  • songlines's Space

crafted from re-used australian materials, songlines' products inspire you to explore their past and create their future ... bags with a story. the start of the journey.

the name 'songlines' was inspired by the dreaming tracks of indigenous australians, which are invisible paths across the land (or, sometimes the sky) which mark the route followed by a localized 'creator-spirit' during the dreaming. The paths of the songlines are recorded in traditional songs, stories, dance, and painting ... I want my bags to pass on similar stories :-)
