this blog covers my journey to realize my business idea with all highs and successes as well as the pitfalls and disappointments - and balancing this with just spending a day in the surf.

setting up a business is a challenge, especially as i am trying to create something in an area that i don't know much about, in a country that is far away from a lot of things, and on my own.

driven by the belief and the feedback that i have a convincing concept, i still often feel like walking through quicksand. and .. I DON'T LIKE WORKING ON MY OWN!

that's where i need you. please help me out by providing feedback, ideas, support and sometimes a 'virtual kick in the bum' to stop procrastination.

it's a great idea - help me to make it happen.

  • About songlines

crafted from re-used australian materials, songlines' products inspire you to explore their past and create their future ... bags with a story. the start of the journey.

the name 'songlines' was inspired by the dreaming tracks of indigenous australians, which are invisible paths across the land (or, sometimes the sky) which mark the route followed by a localized 'creator-spirit' during the dreaming. The paths of the songlines are recorded in traditional songs, stories, dance, and painting ... I want my bags to pass on similar stories :-)
