august last year i made a little songlines pouch - just for the fun of it. and at that time i was so looking forward to having somebody else make them for me. well, here i am, a few months down the line, and i have made my second little pouch prototype. thanks to tips and tricks on the internet i managed to finish the pouch much quicker and .. it actually helped to rethink part of the construction. maybe it is really not that bad to do your own prototyping after all!

the pouch is finished and already has a new owner. my friend ms. m will take this songline on a journey to berlin. safe travel little bag (and of course ms. m & family too). i am looking forward to all the exciting adventures that it will encounter!

crafted from re-used australian materials, songlines' products inspire you to explore their past and create their future ... bags with a story. the start of the journey.

the name 'songlines' was inspired by the dreaming tracks of indigenous australians, which are invisible paths across the land (or, sometimes the sky) which mark the route followed by a localized 'creator-spirit' during the dreaming. The paths of the songlines are recorded in traditional songs, stories, dance, and painting ... I want my bags to pass on similar stories :-)
