    printing experiment - part 2 of 2: the results are in!

    after mr. r washed off the songline print on a tag attached to his jeans, i thought i had to find a different solution to printing on fabric. i searched high and low, got specific liquid sent over from the other side of the continent and prepared my test.

    after printing on different prepared fabrics plus one untreated one and washing all of them in the washing machine .. well, i can't really see a difference.

    • brown background - before washing
    • white background - after washing

    the bubble jet set version is still the clearest, but the other ones are good too.

    i think for regular rain fall impac on a bag, t i can just continue printing on untreated fabric. i really wonder how mr. r achieved to get all the print off .. tststs

The paths of the songlines are recorded in traditional songs, stories, dance, and painting ... I want my bags to pass on similar stories :-)
